A great life begins with great health care. And as a campus of Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC), Cook Medical Center (CMC) offers residents a life-enhancing combination: the convenience, dedication and personal attention of true community care supported by the pace-setting expertise and advantages of a regional leader.
While TRMC’s signature services include surgery such as the DaVinci robotic surgery, oncology, cardiovascular care, neuro-diagnostics, women’s healthcare and more, Cook Medical Center’s signature commitment revolves around this community with day-to-day care that reflects this dedication.
Sized for service.
A 60-bed acute care hospital, CMC is a one-stop resource for a variety of healthcare and wellness needs. Facilities include the Sylvia Barr Center, a 12-bed geriatric-psychiatric unit operated within the hospital, and the Cook Senior Center, a 95-bed skilled nursing facility, operated under CMC auspices.
A genuine investment in community.
Named 2014 Company of the Year by the Adel-Cook County Chamber of Commerce, CMC is a steadfast corporate sponsor of multiple civic activities and events, while CMC staff are dedicated and devoted community leaders. An active member of the Chamber of Commerce, CMC is also corporate sponsor for The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Greater Cook County Area and Relay for Life, and, as a Partner in Excellence with the Cook County School System, CMC awards three scholarships to Cook High School graduating seniors every year.
