Linde LLC is holding a groundbreaking ceremony at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 30, for its new large-scale atmospheric air separation unit (ASU) in Adel, Georgia.
The new plant will manufacture gas products essential to hospitals, healthcare providers, food processors, glass manufacturers, metal fabricators and independent welding and gases distributors. Linde of Adel is expected to strengthen the company’s presence in the Southeast. The industry will be located on U.S. Highway 41 South near Adel.
Cook County was recently featured in Atlanta Business Chronicle among such bigger communities as Athens and Midtown Atlanta that have brought industry expansions to Georgia. Linde announced in January 2017 that the company will create 35 jobs and invest $40 million in the air separation plant.
