The news was good in 2013 when Site Selection Magazine named Georgia the nation’s #1 State for Business, citing multiple factors for the rating, including Quick Start, Georgia's primary discretionary incentive for job creation and retention.

Quick Start is the #1 workforce development program in the nation, providing customized training free-of-charge to qualified new, expanding and existing businesses.

Since its inception in 1967, Quick Start has trained more than 1,132,720 Georgians through 6,650 projects.
